10 Years in Kafouri - Rebuilding Home & Community
We broke ground on our very first home in September 2016 in Kafouri 3. Over the past decade, founder Bakinam Osman Rahama — supported by her German husband Christof Litznerski — has cultivated a deeply trusted, battle-tested network of suppliers, civil engineers, and master craftsmen across Khartoum.
We know firsthand how to navigate complex ground realities in Sudan: from municipal authorities and utility boards down to daily, respectful relationships with on-site workers.
When the war brought damage, looting, and displacement, we saw the acute challenge faced by families — particularly those living abroad in the diaspora. Our mission is to be your trusted eyes and hands on the ground, rebuilding and securing your family home with European-level transparency, milestone accounting, and video walkthroughs.
Grounded in Social Responsibility: Drop of Water NGO
Bakinam Osman Rahama is also the co-founder of the Sudanese humanitarian organization Drop of Water, which has drilled 39 deep water wells across rural communities in Sudan, providing sustainable clean water to over 2 million people. That same spirit of accountability, social trust, and community stewardship guides every home we rebuild.
